- I then proceeded to start checking all circuits to identify the source of the draw. Using meters and wiring diagrams I narrowed down the search to an interior CAN issue. Upon further testing I discovered that the integrated center control unit was the main cause. It appears that when the radio become inoperative after an extended time it caused the integrated center stack damage. I replaced the integrated center control module. At the same time I performed diagnostics on the uconnect system. Determined that if the unit was still inoperative. After further testing I determined that this was the unit that damaged and/or helped in the failure of the integrated center control module. At this time the client does not want to repair the uconnect system so it is now out of the wiring system. I disabled the unit. In the future we can replace the unit.
