The following codes were logged: P0627 fuel pump A control circuit fault P162F extended cranking, ECM disconnected circuit due to starter overheating. Performed the following diagnostics: Connected fuel pressure testing equipment in line with fuel system. Verified that no pressure was present. I proceeded to check the following fuses: BCM fuse 18 (10A) it tested good. Main fuse box under hood 65 (30A) it tested good. I then removed the fuel pump relay in the underhood fuse box and bench tested the relay. It tested good. Removed rear lower seat cushion. Lowered passenger side rear seat back. Electrically tested the fuel pump relay driver module and tested the incoming circuit at socket 1 and it had 12.8V. They outgoing circuit to the fuel pump, socket 5 showed power going to the fuel pump. I then gained access to the fuel pump connected and tested socket 5, 12.8V. Fuel pump is faulty.

Mileage154,862Service Date1/13/2026Services Performed- Performed a diagnostic scan. The following codes were logged: P0685 (ECM/PCM internal circuit malfunction) P0246 (rocker arm control system bank 1 stuck off due to low voltage) P0325 (knock sensor circuit) When using freeze frame data I discovered that the battery voltage was very low at the time codes P0685 and P0246 were set. I then proceeded to test the battery. It required charging. I charged the battery and tested it and the battery failed. It had 56% of the CCA available after charging. We are going to replace the battery. As for code P0325, freeze frame data showed no signals were being sent. I used my scope and connected the circuit. There was only reference voltage. This indicates either the circuit is open or the sensor is completely failed. When checking the wiring I could see that the wiring was not connected due to rodent damage. I also found 3 rodent nests in the engine compartment and one was in the valley of the intake manifold. Please see repairs on the repair order.
